Club History
For the 1994/95 cricket season three individual cricket clubs merged to form the "Shoalhaven Central Districts Cricket Club”. The three clubs being the Huskisson RSL Cricket Club, St. Georges Basin Country Club Cricket Club and Tomerong Cricket Club, each club providing various teams at the senior level and different age groups at the junior level. The decision to amalgamate was not made lightly but it was necessary if cricket was to progress in the Bay and Basin area and provide all players with the opportunity to play for the one club, irrespective of their age, ability or grade. While the club has grown in strength over this time, another change seemed inevitable. In 2007 the name of the club was changed to “Bay and Basin Cricket Club”, to reflect the locality that it represents and from where it draws most of its players.
